Fr gear knob and where to place a boost gauge.

Hey everyone!

I'm after some help with two things.

1. Does anyone know what the part number is for an ibiza fr gear knob? I've got a normal one but i'm after one with fr on it.

2. I have just got a boost gauge and i'm not sure if i want to place it in a pod on the column or on the dash, does anyone no whats better and what pod would fit my car?

The gearknobs are a chew on mate, so many different options apparently and no direct part number. Think that's the gist when I asked same question, but for the cupra, in the SERE motors section.

Boost gauge wise I tries a few options with mine and ended up like this:

Gauge pod on the pillar was an option until I realised you have to screw it onto the original, didn't want to ruin it.

I believe I have the facelift FR one, is this the one?

I got mine from ebay for £30 with gaitor, sold the gaitor for £20 and got a bargain

Cool, when i phoned seat he said there are loads of different gear knobs and needed a part number to get the right one! I am hoping anyone would fit. I'll give him a call back to see what he can do! I did have a look on ebay but couldn't find any, think i will have another look because thats the gear knob i'm after! Did you screw the boost gauge on the dash or use the sticky pads Scott?! Think i will be putting mine there for the same reason, don't fancy drilling holes in the pillers.

Sticky pads wouldn't work ended up taking the base off the holder and sticking that down with abit of clear silicone, then when it dried I bolted the rest on.

I ended up just buying the forge big knob but my mate have me a the momo seatsport one so stuck that on!

i used stick like sh*t on mine.

I'll stick mine on the dash then, not keen on drilling any holes.

Had a look on ebay for a fr gear knob but could only find ones for a leon, i'll just keep looking me thinks.
