Recently I noticed that one of the illuminated FR door sills stopped working on my Leon.
Naturally my first suspicion was that the LED in the sill died and the sill needs to be replaced, but before I ordered a new(used) one, I decided to check the voltage on the connector where the sill is connected, and the reading on the pins was 0.392 V, which meant its not the LED.
I went and checked the other side, which is working, and the cable there reads normal 12V.

So now I'm in the mist again. OBD isn't giving me any fault readings, so my only guess would be that the cable somehow got damaged?

Anyone has any ideas/suggestions how to diagnose this further?
If it is the cable, how can I inspect it if its buried in the chassis..
Are there maybe other causes to this that I could check, so I don't go ripping cables out of the car?

Also, forgot to take pictures when I had it disassembled..
