FR PD170 S.H.A.R.K Remap

Well, had my 56 plate FR into S.h.a.r.k Performance yesterday to have the DPF off and Stage 1 map.

After a few mapping niggles, all done and dusted and it drives like a different beast!

It's now like a petrol the way it rev's and has usable power.
It's only stage 1, so around 200hp at the crank, but its a daily driver and didn't want anything silly.

If you're thinking about it, don't, just do it. Miles easier to drive at a decent pace.

Second that!!..... had mine done by them 2 weeks ago and love it. Had a stage 2... but I'm not looking into bigger turbo kits.. cos I still want more from it... and want it to burn cleaner too

Does it smoke a lot with stage 2?

It does smoke under full load but only when my foot is flat out!!.. and its not too bad but its there and i feel sorry for cars behind me lol. GTB2260VK turbo next maybe... or just get a Hybrid unit and settly for a clean burning 235bph ish

Well what I did was saw the map on the rollers... so you can see it then they are really helpful!

Mine was £663 all in, which was fair, as they guys spent a bit of time sorting out a mapping problem which nobody budgeted for (finished at 6.30pm!).

Good service, car is much better to drive, only see the smoke on full gun as said above.

Thats still a lot of money, think for now I will stick with EGR delete and Stage 1 map.
