fr tdi whirring noise after accelerating

i have noticed a whirring noise when i take my foot off the accelerator either when changing gear and i back off accelerator or even if i just rev the car when its out of gear and im stood still, the engine revs as normal and when i take my foot off i get the noise on my leon fr tdi 57 plate. Anybody else got this problem??

Is it maybe a whistling noise?

its sounds very similar to the motor noise your wiper motor makes when squirting water.

Turbos can make some odd whooshing noises at times, not surprising when you appreciate what a turbo actually does.
