I know I have seen this in the specs in the brochure.

The other day my usual petrol station which is a few miles away was randomly closed, and I was on 5 miles, it then dropped to 0 a moment after and I got the flashy warning light...

How far roughly is left, I know it mentions it in the brochure but I'm unsure

Surely it depends on how you drive those extra few miles. I personally wouldn't drive more than 5 miles once it hits 0. But im sure the tank is capable of more than that.

Best advice for the future is to not let the tank get that empty. I can't be doing the car any good

Usually I wouldn't, and I know it can't have actually been that low, it was on 10 Miles when I parked up and because of the short trip the mpg flew down so I probably had more than it indicated

I just wondered that's all

I wouldn't really trust it that much, it really depends on the driving conditions. Once I had it drop from 100 km remaining to 30 in less then 20, and another time I went off with 200 something km remaining and after 80 km trip I had 300, so definitely depends on conditions. I even joked around with my mates that we broke the time space-time continuum on that second trip :)

top-gear challenge. I've had 10 miles with zero showing - was driving like an old woman mind!

14.8 miles, on one of the early mk3 diesels, as it ticked over -10 I was driving it like a saint with lots of praying it would make the garage forcourt :D

Not in a Leon but in my old A4 TDi I managed 33.1 miles from 0 range before I run out of bravery
