RS4's are around 300whp so i would say youd need stage 2+ to go past one .

Saying that though Ben in his ed30 wasnt stage 2+ when he had his little play with one and was quicker.

ben was stage 1 and beat the RS4 iirc.

RS4's make more around 380hp than the advertised 420hp to what I have read from owners forums, combined to the fact it weighs 1700kg+ if you take into account a fuel and driver, which audi figures never do and its easy to see the RS4 isnt all that.

Stage 1 also keeps on the arse of the new M3, stage 2 plus means you go past it.

drove the vxr before buying the cupra and in standard form the chassis didnt inspire me with confidence, i feel the cupra r's handling would be better than the vxr as my cupra is!

I would definitely agree the Cupra would handle better than the VXR in standard form - my FR handled better than it... The VXR took a bit of getting used to, but once you reign it in a bit, you can have endless fun in it. I've done 3 VXR Track Days (Vauxhall organised ones) and once you get the hang of the Astra, you can have plenty fun with it throwing it around a circuit.
