Guys my front roll bar is shot. the bushes are more shagged than Jordan and the plastic collars are broken up and the creaking from it is driving me insane.
Ive had a search and found many different threads but cant really seem to decide on what to buy.
Im not going to be using the car for track purposes but do sometimes like giving the car some beans round the twisty lanes,so wouldnt mind the suspension being a little stiffer.
Do I replace it with a standard one and use say powerflex bushes, or shall I go for a R32 one, or does anybody have any other reccomendations?

Any suggestions welcome:D

Have you got a rear one as well ? I have the nuespeed 25mm front from awesome gti £186 I think I have the 28mm whiteline rear makes it a great set up , I wouldn't go to big if you don't have the rear one ,

Are you 100% sure it's the arb and not the top mounts

Its 100% the roll bar.I did the top mounts 6 months ago. Had a mate bouncing up and down on the front and I can see the bar moving in the bush and can feel the creaking through the bar.
I dont have a rear one but am starting to consider it after reading posts on here

I would recommend the r32 23mm bar and poly bush it but may need to invest in a rear one if it become too understeery
I also have the 25mm front one with a 28mm adjustable rear
R32 setup only cost about £100

i think you mean you want to leave the front ARB, and fit a front upper strut brace and a rear ARB?

ah ok, the one in RR #49.

not to be against you or to say that your wrong, but i would not call that a Rear lower strut brace, its more like 1 piece of a rollcage or in combination with the other rear upper strut brace you have fitted later, i would call it a 2piece upper strut brace.
on some cars you can get a rear upper strut brace, which is mounted like the 2 rear ones you have and then there is welded a cross brace in between like a X. some even have tube stiffener that is sloping down from the top brace to the floor at the rear lights, and that is stil also a rear upper strut brace.
its not a lower brace just becaus it is mounted lower then the normal upper brace.
