how difficult (Im assuming not overly as its a bolt on / off job)
how long?
and what exactly needs removing to allow proper access?
Im taking it as a given bumper off , grill off, rivet on front cap of skirt off/ skirt at least pulled back a tad out of the way??
does the bonnet need off? or can you wangle it without taking it off?

been trying to make the dinked one look a little better with a skim of filler and some paint, but sods law in these showers its looking gash, so it'll need done properly sooner rather than later.

Cheers,

Telford ay it...
As long as all the bolts are in a sound condition its easy as pie. Bonnet can stay on but I think the hinge bolts through the wing. Front bumper needs to come off and so does the grill, I removed the skirt as well. Putting it back on is a pain due to lining it back up, my panel gaps are a bit pap at the moment :)

Cheers Jenkmeister!
looks like a job for a day off in the sun, methinks.
One thats on looks ok from a distance , but soon as you get close you can see its been filled etc as i aint no bodywork guru.. especially in the poxy weather we've had today! every time i got a coat of paint on, the sky leaked and it ruined the paint, so had to sand it back and go again.. one decent thing though, I now know somewhere local to get a good colour match for paint :D

Bodyworks a nightmare, you got a big block for sanding? Makes things alot easier.

Whats this paint place? Decent price? I could do with some purple, saves painting everything black.

sorry for adding to your thread Brummy, but my wing sticks out a bit at the bottom of the doors where the shape pulls in (After the side repeater)... It's not in-keeping with the door anyway. How do I adjust it?

Why Arun? :O not shiny enough is it? I had a look now, there are points under the wheel arch that are adjustable I think... I couldn't see... Nasty weather here for a proper investigation!

*Facepalm*... (The picture would make me look a bit smoother maybe)... :p

Why don't you get both facelift ones that'll fit the bumper better... :)

I will be matey, if I find them in red and for a reasonable price ;)

Or when I get a price from the body shop for the door and rear panel, ill ask them to do the wing as well :)
