Not a leon, but a mapped octy vrs.

On my 8 mile trip to work, I get around 38 there (mostly downhill), and around 23 back (uphill)

Think the comp has avaraged it out at about 29.3 over the last 1000 miles or so, with mainly town driving.

on a short 2 or 3 mile journey there and back taking my lad to nursery i could not manage much over 20, the thing eat fuel for fun, that was until someone totalled it oh well shes in the sky now with all the bits in my garage, im sure they will come to some use. at least i dont have to worry bout fuel anymore

I did a run from Northampton to Manchester and back on monday (320 miles) and I still had 1/4 tank left (rubbish fuel guage). I had to fill it up again after doing 360 miles. The trip was done at a constant 70 MPH (give or take a couple of MPH). Trips to work are from northampton to milton keynes and I normally get about 280 - 300 miles from a tank (MK is rubbish as there are so many round abouts).

Mine is terrible. As soon as I've got the new spark plugs fitted and changed the oil I'm hoping for slightly better figures. Trips to the gym I get about 18mpg tops, this is a 6-7 minute drive with roundabouts and a stretch of dual carriageway. Commuting to work is on dual carriageway/m4 and I can get to 30mpg by the time I get to work if I try really hard. The journey is about 20 miles. The overall average on my trip computer is about 25mpg.

What is the cupra 20vt tank capacity?? cos on a long run i get really good mpg, i do a 260mile round trip to warrington every friday and only costs between 35 and 40pounds in fuel and when i put the fuel in gauge shows the line after half a tank,

I read the the other day that a LCR tank is 55 litres, im not sure if there is a difference compared to a Cupra tho

I take it you have bigger injectors in there? so MPG will read wrong! boo!!

Can't remember exactly why but they read around 30% out.

I drive my LCR mainly on weekends so I do get throttle happy..usually see 23-25mpg.
That's driving sensibly and doing short trips.
I would love it if for once I could see 30mpg on average.

Average to work is 29 i reckon.

Still, on a small side note, i didn't buy the car to worry about how much money i'm burning...
