Fuel tank size

I know the manual says the tank is 50 litres but my first fill up within 2 miles of the red light took 47 litres. How big is the reserve on a petrol FR ST.
My old Furby vrs was at least 7 litres ( light on at 38 litres and Max fill 45 litres and I know it was a diesel and I could have sucked some crap from the tank )

'Usually' 5 litres, in most makes / models, other than in really small or really large cars / 4x4's etc.

In the Furby it was 7 litres and also got a 10 plate verso petrol and that is 12 litres, has anyone put in more than 50 litres in one go without getting wet feet

Oh yes, I managed to get about 55 litres in.
Frequently I put in at least 52-53 litres.

I can never get more than 46l in my ST. However, I've never let it run dry.

I've managed to squeeze 48L into my Cupra, that was unfortunately in the Red which I don't normally do with my cars.

At last fill up I had 5 miles range showing in the ST Cupra and put 48 something in.

Last red light on gauge comes on with 30 to go in the Cupra, 50 in the 184.

Mine has a 40 litre tank but I did once put 42-43 L in it. (2013 1.6 TDI SE).

Almost never happens though - as a rule I *never* let it go below 4 bars, sometimes 3, before refueling. I'm a bit paranoid wrt running out of fuel, or suddenly needing to urgently go somewhere.

with the remaining range of 34 km I squeezed in almost 51 litres the other day.

Generally about £55 worth at the moment for a full tank so 50l is about right.

Golf R has 55, I have 50... always wondered what they gave the cupra's, probably a mixture of both knowing seat
