Full Link activation and warranty query

I bought Formentor 1.4 VZ e-Hybrid last year and it doesn't have Full Link. Whenever I try to open Full Link app, it said "This function is not available". Since last year I spoke with several Cupra specialist services and they told me it is not possible to activate it unless there is a software update available.

My PR is 8AW and I searched other countries for this issue, and they have option to activate it for 180 Euro. For example Poland and Spain can do it. https://cupraaccessories.com/pl/product/product/29005/290015/30050 . I couldn't find this option in German site.

Now, the question is, if I activate it in Poland in a Cupra authorized service, will my warranty get affected? Also, what will happen if German service does an software update? Will it overwrite and remove Full Link or will it stay?

(I live in Germany and car is from Germany)

I also just ordered Full link activation to be installed this friday. Total cost will be 270€ (235 for the activation code + 35 for installation).
Funny, PIA sent me an offer for 188€ for the activation code + 30€ for installation

Hi, does the activation include the wireless app function? Such as wireless hotspot, wifi client mode, wireless android auto and wireless apple carplay.

You can ignore this. Cupra Services are finally retrofitting Full Link for 400 Euro. I booked an appointment to a Cupra Specialist Service.
Hi Naxterra,

I think I have the same issue. I imported a German Formentor to the Netherlands. On models from the Netherlands Full Link is equipped by default. I knew it was not on this one, but I thought it could be enabled for about €300. But the local SEAT dealer says they can't activate it on my car because it's not compatible? Also when I try to buy the activation on the SEAT WEBSHOP it does a license plate check and it also says not compatible. I find it hard to believe...

Mine also says "This function is not available" and not asking for an activation code. But you are saying it IS possible to activate in this situation? Only at a Cupra Specialist Service or can something like this be enabled by OBDeleven?

I went to Cupra specialist service and they did it for around 400ish Euro. It took around 6 hours if I remember correctly.
