Full Link Car play

I activated full link about a year ago on my car through buying two micro USB and updated the software. It never worked for me, I bought a new USB port and that didn’t work. I just tried a Samsung instead though however and it appeared in the selected devices for me but didn’t connect. I checked ChatGpt and it said that most androids and Samsungs have ditched mirror link after 2020. I’m just wondering do I need to try get a CarPlay download to install onto my car because it does not show car play on the screen it is only showing mirrorlink

For anyone to help you on here, we would need to know your hardware and firmware version. ie. this screen:

Depending upon that then it may be possible to enable CarPlay and Android Auto (AA) (though maybe what you have already have done might have caused problems!).

I managed to change byte 19 = C4 and now my iPhone is appearing it the devices, it previously never done that but I cannot get it to connect, any ideas?
