Wondered if anyone could help.
Im having a play with full link and dont really get what u can do.
I know that it mirrors your phone on to the screen.can you only use the feature with the seat drive app or are their other ones you can use for mirror link.?.any help would be much appreciated.

I've just moved back from IOS to android and I love google maps but the music player is a bit crap. Can't browse albums or anything.

I think it depends what music player you use, I use deezer and don't have any problems

I had deezer but gave it up when Orange stopped giving it to me for free. Subscribed to apple music which works well with Android, but theres very few AA apps out there just yet. Google maps is a game changer though.

I'm still fiddling about with my stereo, but my findings so far are...
Make sure you have a decent USB cable, mine worked once then died!

Install Android auto or Apple car if on an iPhone. I have a Samsung galaxy s7. Installed the app and when connected to the car I can get my entire Google music library (used to have an iPhone and transferred my entire library to Google, pm me if you need help) also have access to my spotify account and can listen to any playlist I want.

Maps, I didn't really like the built in maps so use Google maps from Android auto, great because I can be in the office, plot a route, send that to my phone and drive away. Perfect and it also does traffic updates.

Also found out the car can read messages out to you, you can then press a button and speak your reply. This works with WhatsApp and the built in messages app too.

No, apple Maps only. Which isn't as good as Google but still way better than stock.

Yeah, thanks for that, I was just googling about it. Well, I guess I should start using it then... Over the weekend, I used both - SEAT's and Google maps on my phone, just for the accuracy of the arrival time It was funny how SEAT was saying I'll get home one hour before Google

Apple only uses the default Maps application. Can't see this changing anytime soon as they like to push their apps as the defaults.

On the golf, the steering wheel controls for the phone only work on bluetooth and not full link. Is the Leon the same?

My Leon steering wheel controls work with Full Link and I use Spotify on a daily basis using Android Auto which is fantastic. I did have problems with my Galaxy S5 and Android auto, however, some have commented saying it might not be all Galaxy S5s.

The biggest problem I find with using the Google Navigation is that it doesn't integrate with the little screen on the dashboard that gives you directions as I tend to use that more than the main screen.

Android Auto is a million and one times better than the other android one which I can't remember the name of.

When using android auto you don't need to press anything, just say "ok google" followed by what you want to do (send message etc).
