Probably easier to get a decent car wrap. that way you don't need to mess around changing colour on logbook etc.

My brother had his V10 Toureg done for £1400

My leon just had a full respray in original colour, Cost me 650 at mates rates, very good job. If your doing a colour change and want it done properly including engine and door interiors etc then your looking at a £1500-2000 job easy as it requires alot of labour.

yeah as above, car wrapping is viewed as a temporary modification by the DVLA and therefore does not need to be logged on their system. Also cheaper than a full body respray

Yes go the wrapping way. When you go to get rid of it. just remove it and there are no questions to be asked when selling it on.

A decent wrap should cost well over a grand, and it's not permanent. I guess it depends how long u plan on keeping the car for. Any more than 3 years and u may as well spray.
Also worth noting that if a wrap is applied badly then the paint can get damaged. A small slip with a blade could score the paint and it will rust badly underneath. And I believe u have to pay to get the wrap removed.

It really depends how much u plan on spending and what kind of finish u are after.
I personally think matt white wrap looks awesome, but as I said above u need to find a reputable wrapper and pay decent money.
If u go for spray there is a lot more work involved and u will be without the car for a while as it needs parts stripping and a lot of preparation. I think the finish from a good respray will be great but the same applies, u need to find a decent painter and be prepared to pay good money.
Pros and cons of both I suppose and only you can make the decision, just do ur research on whoever u decide to use.

I wrap cars/vans and for a good wrap some parts will still need striping ie handles badges etc, as said over a £1200 for a good job and any bad chips/dents/deep scratches will still show up and the average time is anywere from 8-16 hours depending on the no of men and the quality of workmanship.

As far as i am aware there is no pearl white vinyl available but then again im just a fitter and dont order the stuff so it could be.
matt/satin colours will hide marks better than gloss
To remove the vinyl can be just as hard as fitting sometimes aswell depending on the brand as some have more glues than others and when initally heated onto the vehicle can transfare glue.

Choose your wrapper carefully as a bad wrapper will more than likely scratch the car to buggery and when you remove the wrap you will regret not paying that little more.
