fuses???

Im having a problem with the fan fuse, seems to be melting them. i have put 3 fuses in the past 3months anyone else experienced this? Or know whats wrong

are you fitting the correct amp fuse?

you may need a new fuse box, check it thoroughly for wear/corrosion

yeah putting correct fuse in mate...sure its a 30. Think its time for new fuse box then....damn

hopefully it is, could be alot worse, very common problem, some poor soul had a fire start from it, but now he has one of the finest Ibiza Cupra R's iv ever seen so i dont feel that sorry for him

Isn't it to do with the radiator fan drawing too much current? Design flaw somewhere along the line i'm sure

It also controls the Air Con fan too doesn't it. I check mine regularly and have removed the cladding from around the battery. I can tell when mine goes (twice now) as the air con isn't as cool as it usually is, so its the first thing i check
