FYI any V1 or V2 Formentor that is built from week 40 will have 10 inch screen

Just a head up if your V1 or V2 is built after week 40 it will have a 10 inch display so I would grab a stock car unless you want smaller nav screen

Any pictures with the 10" screen? Is the one from Leon? If yes, the pixel density is much better than on the 12" screen...I tested reverse camera on both. If it's not the same as in Leon, than it's a pity!

I'm not sure to be honest. I'd think so. The only problem I can see with it is that there are no physical buttons in Formentor so it maybe even more awkward to operate the 10 inch screen than it is on 12

True, but the same applies to Leon.

I asked in the german forum too, and they posted some pictures from the Leon vs Formentor, see below.

I’ve placed an order which will give me the 10” screen. So is if the whole unit including the heater control part at the bottom or is that a separate part butted up against it?
Like will the slider for the heating controls be smaller?

I placed my order on 14/09 - a day before you posted on this forum - on the understanding that I was getting a 12" display. As my order isn't due to arrive until (eta) April 2022, does that mean I'll get the 10" screen instead?

Not really happy about that as it looks tiny in the screenshots below!

Another question - but you may not know the answer? Can an order be cancelled/rejected on a changed spec?

Hi, I ordered on the 29/09 and have a expected delivery date of Jan 2022. I went for the 1.5 as the 2.0 were saying 6 months+. What engine/spec did you go for? I just got V2 in graphene grey with pan roof.

How do you find the 10" screens? I have received mine, and it moves very fast, but it looks a bit grainy...like in the old tft displays on phones. Did you notice this too?

I believe it’s the same screen as on the Leon’s. Might be worth popping to your local dealer and comparing them. It shouldn’t be that bad for a 2022 car

Hi!

Does anyone know if the screen can be upgraded from 10" to 12"? Is it even possible?
I heard that both 10" and 12" with Media System+ have the same software so potentially should be.

I've ordered Formentor V1 in Nov 2022 and unfortunately it was not possible to order a bigger one. I asked my local dealer (in Poland) but he was unable to answer me.
