My warning light has been coming on the past few weeks and being the king of procrastination I have only just looked into it.

My engine coolant has dropped slightly below the min level so need to add some of this. i need a water 60:40 G12+ ratio....

Anyone know where i can pick this up and how much? is it a petrol station, garage, halfords or dealer job?

Halfords do it but you sure the prongs just don't need a scrub in the expansion tank?

I have heard this may be the problem ;)

It's certainly a fix if the coolant is within it's range, but if the coolant is visibly below the minimum level then it sounds like the prongs are doing their job. :)

Personally I'd stick with dealer supplied, it's not that expensive and I don't trust Halfords! Not after they tried to do me out of a special offer of some screwdrivers with some oil, I had to have the manager come out to me before the checkout girl let me have them. And she was standing right next to the sign!

I picked up some G12 from the local dealer today. It cost me £8.50 for 1 1/2 litres
Mine had dipped below min level so I just added 200ml of G12 and 200ml water

No more beeps on startup :)

I used it neat.....

Although to be fair I had no idea what concentration was in there already, and I thought stronger is better.
