Gearbox Crunch, Plz any info

Hi, just picked up a 51 plate 20vt turbo cupra today, changing from 1st to 2nd or changing down from any gear into 2nd there is a very noticeable crunch. All the other shifts are smooth.

The guy dropped his price reassuring me it is just a selector problem. I seem to be the worlds worst for being sucked in and am regretting my decision now as i think it is more than selectors. Anyone have any ideas or experience please help as i am stuck?

Also how do you bleed the clutch?

sounds like syncro mesh , had a couple of cars that have done that , try bleeding the oil and topping it back up with some new stuff , sorted the crunch that i had on my old s3 , what milage has it done , the kid who owned it may have been on here , post some pictures up of it ,

Ive had it a day and feel like killing someone, the electric window has packed in and now the fuel guage doesnt work. [:@]

Its only done 43k, spoke to a gearbox specialist and they say the syncro. What oil do you mean, gear box oil or brake fluid?
