Hi all has anybody every replaced the os driveshaft gearbox oil seal on a lcr 6 speed box ? I knoticed mine is starting to leak . Is it a big job to do? as the master tech at my place mentioned that he thinks the coupling the driveshaft bolts to is bolted through the centre into the gearbox and , and I just want to make sure there is nothing more to it then that .

Not too difficult. You need to drop the drive shaft, and you need a very long 6mm Alan key to get the drive cup off the gearbox. Other than that, its pretty easy.
Ok great thanks for the input . I have my snap on Allen key bits will I reach it with that and an extension or is it too narrow And has to be a specific long Allen key ?
The hole is probably 8mm wide. I think the long snap on ones might just about make it. If not just get a cheapy long Alan key, cut off the bend and put a socket on it. It needs to be like, 3.5 inches?
