This one was in a thread a page or so back.

Its a fake.

Remember....If its too good to be true it usually is.

Does sound suspiciously cheap for a lowish mileage LCR with at least stage 1 REVO and a lot spent on it recently. I note only one photo of the front end and blurred pic of the engine bay. That makes me think about about possible front end damage and repair at some stage in it's life, but others are better qualified than me to express an opinion.

I just spent £9999 on an 03 Cupra R with 33k on it so it definately seems dodgy. Especially seen as he would probably get at LEAST 7k from a dealer for it.

Similar to me. I paid £10200 for an 03 LCR with 33k on the clock back in October.

As somebody said above, if it seems too good to be true it probably is. When you add eBay into the equation, that gets all the more true!

I emailed the person selling or claiming to sell also told them that it sounded too good to be true

Topic has been spoken about recently - I raised a thread on it and the general consensus was that it was either a fake, or someone laundering money.

Either way, don't expect it to be real. Infact, the pictures are raped from another legit. auction that was running until recently. The real car went for 11,000 odd.

see the other thread, this was an add for a genuine car that was sold on ebay recently. This to$$er has hijacked the pics for a scam.

I contacted the original seller of the (legit) car and he told me he'd reported this to ebay. nice to see they're acting on it.

To be honest, if you're going to be putting photos of your car or bike or anything valuable/expensive on eBay, you're best off Copyrighting the images with a water-mark, right across the damn picture.

That way, if this tool had nicked the real photos, they'd of been utterly worthless to him. In fact, taking them and using them without consent would of left him open to a whole host of repercusions!
