Cupra R Chequeted mats

Hi All

I have a chance to acquire a set of the original red chequered interior mats for my cupra R from a chap who has just sold his car.

Roughly how much should I be paying for these nowadays ? I know they are rare but a guideline would be great …

Also, they are coming from a 2003 car and mine is a 2005 … will they fit ? I know the attachments changed between the 210 and 225 ??

Last set I saw sell went for about £150 I think.
Used but looked in good condition with slight wear where the drivers heal would sit. That was a good while ago though.
I only know cause I had two sets but both drivers ones had holes in so I was on the look out.
I have one set in my 2004 R that is near enough mint that i have over mats over them and leave the drivers one in the boot unless I’m at a show or something.
They will fit but like you say, different fitment from round lugs to the twisty oval ones. Wander if they could be swapped?

last i looked for mats there was a seller doing custom logo mats on ebay, got a set of genuine official old stock years ago for 12 quid delivered i wish i got another set thinking back now, you can repair the heel part with fabric glue though

Recently just swapped my lugs from round to oval twist for a set of aftermarket mats. Was a bit of a ballache to get the new ones to screw in, but went in ok in the end.
