thinking i might get rid of the FR, sad news i know. even sadder if i told you what id replace it with... lol
i planned on getting a new car at the end of the year anyway so might aswell do it now and save some money
its combination of things, main reason is cost, almost £300 a month! and with the issues at work lately im unsure if its somthing i can keep.
plus since the accedent the car hasnt felt the same, just little things like the doors creaking and rattling noises.
plus all the problems i have been having with the battery since the accedent i have no faith in the reliability, everytime i drive somewhere im worried it wont start again!
anyways.....

i been test driving a car the last couple of days which im seriously concidering.
front and rear parking sensors, pan sunroof, dual zone climate control, automatic folding mirrors xenon headlights, leather seats, alloy wheel spare. ESP, tyre pressure sensors... etc etc
basicly all the things a top of the range ibiza FR or cupra should have standard (but dosnt)

its a petrol, 2009 plate with 32k for under £8k
be talking about £180-£190 a month with gap and 3yrs warrenty.
can anyone guess what it might be?
i dont expect to be very popular when you guys find out haha :p

suppose the downside is they only offerd me £8k for my car which i think its worth alot more. what do you guys think? a Ibiza FR in Ice Silver, FSH with 17k on the clock#
no misfires or engine faults, how much?

What year is it?

I only only got 10K for my 59plate Boca with 22K on the clock, at the start of the year. But I did manage to get a lot off the one i was buying

Do you really need GAP on a 2009? It will have lost it's main chunk of depreciation already!

£300 is alot to be paying on an FR though, mines about £20 less than what you are saying you would pay for this other car! :D

Peugeot 307 thp

i did originaly look at the 207 GT 150hp but the price diffrence is less than £10 a month
and the insurance is exactly the same on the 150 as the 175

i think the GAP comes with the 3year warrenty, its done by the same people
will have to double check as its a fair point shouldnt need GAP on a 3 yr old car if i can knock it off i might do.

i know you lot will hate me now (lol) but its a fantastic car and almost half of what im paying now!

Peugeot 207 gti in bianca(what?) white
1.6 THP (turbocharged)
175bhp 260nm

official figgures say 0-60 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 137mph
its got, auto lights, auto mirror, part leather heated seats, dual zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, traction control, ipod connection, xenon lights
(well one of them seems to be a projector)
auto folding mirrors (that actualy fold when you lock the car)
and an alloy spare :)

think a cupra would have it as the cupra is a good 50kg lighter and has 5 more horses
AND the DSG box
but the gti has 10 more torques and 0.1 of a second quicker to 60, altho in the real world i cant see that making much diffrence!

plus the GTI only has a 5 speed manual box, i would have preferd a 6 speed box but never mind

Scrap that! I will be getting one hopefully but just heard they are laying off upwads of 50 staff at work
So seems in the mean time I'll get rid of the FR and just run a banger for now

Sad times

BMW engine tho so should last (hopfully)
but as my previous post said, i may be losing my job in the comming months so im thinking a £500 corsa b for now :(
