I am by no means a professional valeter but i think i can get a car clean to very high standards and i am considering starting a valet business full time, but i wanna test the water 1st and see if people would pay for my work so im gonna do it on the side at weekends/evenings, i have my own pressure washer and will be using the 2 bucket method and snow foam on your car to minimalise scratches and keep ur car looking good and i am willing to travel to most areas of glasgow, obviously if its totally the other side from clydebank it might be a bit more money but basically if your interested please send me a pm and we can discuss what you want and for how much etc, heres a few pics of my own car to show the quality of my work;

Looks Ok but if you are trying to advertise yourself as a detailer get that first picture off as putting a Coke bottle on your paintwork or anything else for that matter without a m/f underneath just screams amateur to me. I know you are just trying to show the reflection but it isn't good.
If it is valet or detailing there are whole heap of angles you can take on this. From bucket and sponge and a dirty chamois to a full 10 day £5k detail of a supercar. Just make sure you pitch yourself according to your expertise and make sure you have insurance, resprays are expensive and will do nothing for your repuatation.
Sorry if it sounds a bit negative it is not meant to. I only do this for extra cash, albeit quite a nice lump of it. I wouldn't mind doing it part time or even full time it's just circumstances at the moment. It is just not as easy as some people make out especially as you move up the automotive ladder.

i just wanna do it for extra cash too mate and im not trying to walk before i can run im looking to do basic valets, maybe a polish and a wax, im not gonna try and do paint correction cause i feel i dont have the skills but for anyone out there who wants a clean car and cant be bothered doing it themselves then give me a shot, i have high personal standards and wont allow any less than that if people are paying me

Thats cool. Glad you are walking before you run.
Just so you know polish = some form of paint correction.
Make sure you use good quality products stuff like Meguiars, Poorboys, Chemical Guys and if you want to spalsh a bit of cash Swissol and Zymol. These will set you apart from the AG guys which is out dated and past it now but for some reason people won't let go. Products from some of the manufacturers I have mentioned will give much better results for about the same outlay.

in from south lanarkshire, and there is a hell of a lot of competition. most people interested in their car enjoy detaililng it themselves, and those who don't usually wont bother spending 20 quick on a valet. iv got a mate who started up his business, got a van fully kitted out with water pump compressor etc and he's just one of hundreds in the area
