Goodbye to the SEAT community.

Mr. Car Carer
Well it has been a while since I have been on here, so I thought I'd just post and say why. Sold my car (see here http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=50253&highlight=flash+red) at the end of July and then spent over 2 months changing my mind about what I wanted. I was stuck between an Integra type-r, or a Civic type-r. After a while I saw something and fell in love, decided to just blow the budget and get one. After another month of searching I finally found my new car... A ford focus!

Fortunatly it is an RS so its ok.

I had planned to clay it, Menzera IP, Menzera FP, Blackfires Polymor coat then finally some Poorboys Natty blue wax, all that said and.... my polish didn't come in time!

So I ended up just washing and giving a single coat of wax :[:@] :censored:

Anyway, I got a few nice pictures. I will hopefully get all my above planned cleaning done this coming weekend. In the mean time here are my picture. Overall it was clean, but didn't have the depth or wetness I will hopefully get this weekend.

Anyway, I would like to thank everyone on here for the help you gave me over the 2 years I owned my Cupra. I wish you all the best of luck with your own cars.

A few select pictures:

Looks like a lot of quality was lost in the compression, if anyone requests I will upload the better quality ones in a ZIP folder or something.

Cheers, Bryan.

PS. take it easy with winter coming up, keep it between the hedges!

Very nice but as said before, not as quick as i'd expect, but when you think a stard escort cosworth was only around the 200bhp mark i'm sure you can make good power out of this!!!! Jeremy Clarkson did say it was the most dangerous car he has ever driven!!!!!!! But that was because it torque steered all over the road!!!!!!

very nice, i looked at one of those last week as that was one of my swap options. However i have had turbo's in the past, so i thought i would try supercharged. hope you look after the RS as it is a future classic

Very nice! :) I do like RSs, the handling is superb!

I'm selling all my Focus bits on eBay at the minute, there's some spare front indicators and a Connects2 aux/iPod adaptor if you're interested! ;)

If you also read the Evo review, they said the same. However, if you read the Evo buyer guide you will see that they like the car later. It looks like Ford messed around with the LSD on the press cars, to make them faster on the track but almost undrivable on the road. The torque steer is not bad at all, and under heavy acceleration feels 10x safer than the Ibiza did.

As regards to the speed, its similar to a chipped Ibiza as standard, pulling stronger over 70 though. As with all turbo cars, a few small mods and it becomes a whole different animal.

Very nice, i very nearly bought one of these recently. Only thing putting me off is the naff ford interior. Cant beat the VAG group cars for interior. That said, the RS is definatly still on my list of options. :)

Don't doubt that, TBH i love it, but a tad expensive for me. A mate of a mate has one and it was very close between his and mine, but he was 3 up and i was only 2. Killed me when we got to a roundabout, i tried out breaking him....probably the stupidest thing i've ever done!!!!!!!!!

I've always dreamt of an escort cossie, love that car, when i am in a position to insure one that could be a car that would tempt me to sell the ibiza, but tbh i'd like to have both!!!!!

I think u'd lose the suprised factor from boy racers in that though, everyone knows a focus RS is gonna be quick but wots a cupra????
