Hi, I've purchased a set of Goodridge hoses for my mk2 Ibiza running the Brembo's & discs from a Cupra R.

When I went to fit them I found them about 30cm too short and the connection the the caliper was straight instead of a 90 degree elbow.

When I contacted Goodridge I basically got back they sold 50 sets this year and only 2 have come back.

Could any of you let tell me if you had similar problems?

Thanks!

They've sold 50 sets of brake lines for the Ibiza Cupra R?

There's only 52 of the original 90 or so left.

I think they might be fibbing

Are you sure they're Brembo ones & not just regular fitment? Still a bit short if they are

Have you spoken to Bill? He used to get some made up (Forge make lines up too)

That's a point mork! But I guess it could be people like me fitting them to other Ibiza's.

I've purchased a set off Bill now just waiting on delivery!

Here's a pic of the Goodridge ones

Think I may have to get the measurement off them for the mk3 Ibiza Cupra and the Cupra R.

I'm hoping for someone to say yea they had the same problem or to say what you just said.

They knew the Cupra R had Brembo's and were different to the Cupra versions when I ordered. And the tag on the box states Cupra R be it saying the wrong years

That definitely looks like a standard 280mm front hose, I had goodridge make mine up a few years ago from a set of OEM hoses I took over as they didn't have a mk3 cupra kit, my guess is they have sent you those hoses...

Thanks guys! I've sent them an email asking for measurements for the both kits to see what I have here. The boxes state Cupra R so they can't say I ordered the wrong ones my side.

Thanks!

They knew as soon as I ordered, he said on the phone that they the hoses for the Brembo's!

And then I asked again to dour check. Either they got it completely wrong or someone messed up when making the hoses up. Hopefully if this bloke gives me the measurements like I've been asking for then I will find out.

I bought a brembo set up s/h to fit my mk3 at the time. They came off a mk3 but the hoses I got were a different thread and too short. But I'm sure they had a 90deg fitting. Went to bill in the end and he sent the right ones no problem.

I have ones on mine from badger 5 these do have a 90 degree fitting and fit perfect, I have also had all my brake hoses in the bay made in goodridge hose by a local guy who used to be the area dealer for them could get you a number for him he has every single piece you ever need for stuff like this, also pirtek stock goodridge now too as they were sponsoring a btcc team
