Hello
My other half has a MK1 Leon FR, it's an old lady now so we decided to get an additional slightly younger one.......as well.
Only problem is, I do love a project and we couldn't afford what she wanted to buy.
So I waited until a nice blue 2009 MK2 FR TDI (170) facelift came along that needed a bit (a lot it turns out) of TLC.
She was a Cat D (front end) with 65k on the clocks. Thankfully there was no rush to get her back on the road so over the last few months I have been slowly fixing her back up.
Once I've got to grips with the forums I will put some posts up to show the progress we've made. She's never going to be concourse and will carry a few war wounds for now, but mechanically she will be spot on.
Over the last few days I have added an RNS315 headunit to replace the very basic one that was in there. Now need to get my head around fitting the replacement GPS aerial and finding all the additional bits of wiring to make the most of this headunit.
Cheers
