Grill Clips

Hi all, looking for help trying to find the 2 clips that hold the top of the mk2 Leon grill in place
Snapped them off whilst removing it for spraying lol.
Any one kno what the correct name for them so I could buy new ones or post a link? Cheers

Those are for the MK1 but I can't see them changing them needlessly

Yeah.... They dont fit ( I tried them) Far far too big in diameter to fit in the hole.

Need to get round to going to TPS to pick some up.

Yeah spot on, should be same size. Found bmw ones on eBay, 3.50 each! But none vw ones. Cheers for that.

Seat ibiza mk5 badge removal

Hi,

I would like to re-spray my seat badges and also the cupra writing on the back. How would I remove the cupra writing. I am going to mask the rear badge and spray it, but I don't think it will be easy masking around the letters, so does anyone know if I can take them out and spray them, then be able to put them back on easily? Or is it easier to buy new ones?

You could wrap the badge with vinyl wrap, would be easier, ther is a video on YouTube I seen a while ago for seat badge.
Or you could spray the whole surround too. I heard trick of hairdryer and dental floss helps remove badging on the paintwork.

Thank you. And is the hair dryer trick for getting off the cupra writing? If I was to then spray it black how would I get it back on properly?

You could use a good quality adhesive sticker That covers the surface area of each letter?

I droped those clips in garbage and used Torx screws
