Grill Modding

i recently purchased a used grill for £3 and was going to mod it a bit. was thinking about doing the seat badge the same colour red as the gti badge! what do you think?

for £3, do it - fire up a picture and ask for opinions, if no1 likes it and neither do u, you've lost £3.

OR you could sell the grill on here and on ebay and buy an FK debadged grill. they look a lot better.

is the debadged grill the same as a normal one without the badge or are they those mesh types?

no bother, just trying to make u see some sense. sometimes these ideas sound good in your head and you put it on and it can look tacky and boy racerish.

just trying to prevent that

Ive got my front grille meshed aswell. I have to say i quite like it. no plans on changing it yet. Was thinking of maybe getting a Seat badge and putting it on the mesh. Not sure yet tho!

Im not sure about the Seat badge! As mentioned earlier, do it and show us some pics. If its good ill probably copy lol.
The only reason i said i ws thinking about debadged grill was becasue i think the front of my car looks girly, as in not mean if you get catch my drift. But i think its got to do with it being on standard suspension on 17's

It could actually be like that. Mine looked abit 'girly' with the mesh grille whne it was at standard height.

Looks so much better now that its dropped 60mm!!
