HI,
if you have a leon and your indicators work fine, your hazard switch is fine etc but when you lock or unlock your car the indicators dont blink/flash then this guide may help you (it may also be same on other seat models)
1. if they didnt flash at all you will have to check via vagcom to see if the option is switched on this is how you do it
46 central convenience
adaptation 10
type in 008 and then hit GO
it will tell you if BLINK is on or off at the top if off change value to 1 and test and then save.
type in 009 and switch blink on on that too same again as above one is for locking and one is for when unlocking
2.If they did flash before but have now stopped for some reason then this could be due to a blown fuse under the drivers side dash (took nearly a year to find out a fuse existed just for the blink option) even after phoning dealers and going to numerous electricians and doing scans via vagcom and other diagnostic machines
heres how you do it it is very easy you will need a T20 torx bit and a 15amp fuse maybe some pliers to pull the blown fuse out.
1.remove the fuse box cover with a screwdriver and remove 4 torx screws circled in the picture (mine are already off)
2. two torx from bottom as in picture two and three one on left hand side and one is in the little compartment on right hand side
3.i pulled it off from the top left hand side be careful as when it does come off you will need to unplug the headlight switch and dimmer switch and then it should come off
4. the blue fuse needs to be changed
