H&R Lowering Springs

I'm after some help with how much to lower my Cupra R. I am looking at buying H&R lowering springs, has anyone else fitted them and recommend how much to lower by (I was thinking between 30mm to 40mm)? I'm not bothered about the comfort of the ride, I'm used to hard suspension with my Impreza Type R, I'm more about the looks and handling.

I will be running the car initially with the standard wheels.

Any help / advice will be much appreciated

If you want that drop on the Cupra R model then you'll most likely need to go for coilovers, the H&R springs will get you max 20-25mm.

Thanks for your message, I'm defintely only wanting to lower it with springs at the moment. H&R seem to give even ride height, which set of springs would you recommend to lower the car without any further modifications?

I think it gives the Cupra R a good stance but if you want much lower then the only option really would be coilovers.

Yes as H&R only offer one set of springs for the Leon 1P.

Just realised that the link goes to 20mm springs for the 1M model and not 1P, I have looked on your site and there are these: -

Will the springs lower my Cupra R by around 30mm? Is it the standard suspension Leon's that are lowered more with these springs?

Yes the H&R springs will fit on standard shocks.
