I've noticed quite recently and quite suddenly as in the matter of days where the handbrake has slackened off to the point where its not holding the car when parked. I've checked over the rear brakes and the pads are within decent wear and the discs are still good. Has anyone else experienced such problems?

Should you feel that your Handbrake Cable slacken off, it needs to get looked at!

Remember in the mean time, if you park your car on a slope, leave it in 1st Gear if facing Up Hill and Reverse Gear facing Down Hill.

This should stop your car from rolling away!!

i had this issue too...spent £100 on new rear pads n stuff n it didnt solve it. the handbrake cable was loose,iv tightened it up,although its still not good enough for handbrake turns it does keep the car in place while parked :p
