Basically i have had the CV joint go on the ibiza (1.4 8v) well to do the CV joint i am told the best way is to pull the drive shaft out and do it on a bench. But then if i am going to do that then i may as well replace the shaft!! Phoned local scrappy and they have a pair (only willing to let them go that way!!) for £70 now i was told that these will have the CV joints attached!! Is this correct. I am mechanically minded but have no clue what so ever when it comes to drive shafts and cv joints as i quiet my corse when we got the gearbox stage of it ( long story) am sure i can do the work myself with a little help from paynes!

Am also probably going to fit the MK2 Golf Rallye anti roll bar whilst i am there as well

yep thats an easy way of doing it, saves having to change the joints themselves, but you dont know how worn the ones are that are going on.

i think mine have gone, changed bearing and still making a noise. if youre going to throw them out anyway, fancy throwing them my way? the odd beer token at stake maybe?
