Hi guys. I wonder if anyone can help me. I just got a new mobile phone (Nokia 5800) and although it works in my car I can't seem to get the address book to load. What do i have to do?

my first phone was set up by the garage and i seem to remember it took a fair while to load the names of contacts. I just can't figure out. Help please.

I have a feeling it's due to your phone running Symbian S60 OS it's not shown on the Seat compatibility list but other Symbian based handsets like the N95 don't upload the address book either:(

Sory to crash the thread but I have added a few names to my phone this week, will they load up on their own or do I need to do it manually?

To be honest I'm not sure but I would expect you would need to upload the whole address book and it should add all the numbers replacing what you already have and adding the new ones:confused:

I'm not aware of any solution it's one of the features of Symbian based phones and you would probably get similar issues with a number of vehicle manufacturers and their bluetooth kits:(

I had a similar problem a few years ago with a Honda Bluetooth system and a Nokia N73 eventually got rid of it and got a 6300 instead which worked like a dream.

Maybe someone else can give you some advice?

My N97 would not load on my old Leon. But it will work fine on my wifes Altea that has a Parrot fitted.
