Starting troubles

Hello and good day to one and all,
Firstly I have a seat Leon mk2 170 cr Cega engine, eco mapped to 220 😃 180k

I’ll start from the beginning as to not miss anything, had the car for over a year and loved every minute till now lol, was on the way home from work just about to join duel carriageway and heard a pop coil light flashed up limp mode all the way home.

scanned car came up with 08214 intake manifold runner position sensor switch circuit low so changed the inlet manifold and the motor, while Egr and asv was off cleaned them both out put back together all was good for a week or so.

Since then I’m really having problems with the car actually getting to start and if it does start most of the time it idles rough coughs splutters and generally wants to cut out it will always cut out if I’m not on the throttle, some days it will start the flick of a key and run like a dream for 10/15 mins then just cut out, other times I’ll crank it and it just turns over but doesn’t fire up and this is what it’s like most of the time cranking over but not firing. sometimes it will start perfect 10 times in a row then it won’t start for jack until a few hours or days later

I’ve scanned with a snap on scanner and I get mass air flow sensor and my previous intake manifold sensor error but no other codes what so ever,
I’ve tested loads of stuff through the snap on diagnostic machine and all seems to be fine the like of fuel pumps, Egr, asv, intake manifold, fans, turbo actuators all the tests that I can do.

If anyone has any thoughts or had something similar I would love to know where to go next, thanks in advance and sorry for the long post but it’s got me so stumped I need help.
