Hazard lights not working

Hi All,

I have had a search around but can't see anything.

My girlfriends Mk2 Seat Arosa has been in for its MOT and failed only on hazard lights not working.

I have fitted a new radio for her last year and wondering if its possible that I could have pushed off the connector on the hazard light switch?

Has anyone else experienced this before?

Many thanks in advance - hopefully I can get it sorted and back in for a retest tomorrow.

Most likely the fuse.
I've replaced mine three times.
Seems a common failure.
Dont know why.
I first notice, when the indicators dont flash when unlocking with remote.
10 Amp mini blade.
Fuse box is behind a pull off panel, drivers side, above storage tray.
I fitted a 15A last time to see if it fixed the repeated failures.

You are a star, thanks very much.

You know why? Well I didn't mention about the indicators not flashing when unlocking and locking but this has also happened to us too. So this must be the problem - fuse gone. I thought it was down to when I replaced the battery; the ECU was reset or something causing the indicators not to flash. Thought it might be a convenience thing and I was going to plug the vag-com in later to turn that on.

I've sent her out to get a selection of mini blade fuses (I'm at work at the minute).

Cheers again,

Matt
