Ignore my last post, just found these, the ones Dave recommended. Think I'll order them
Which sidelights are best?
arun, i got a set of osram nightbreakers after dinky recommended them and got to say they are brill. admitedly then are on my touareg but all the same, they are very good.
oh get some pics up, as mine are dim as hell, need them brighter

BTW have you tried adjusting the brightness using the wheel on the headlight switch
Ordered them, I know they're only bulbs but I'm genuinely excited, the ones on at the moment are dimmer than candles.
BTW talking of your toe-rag, is it on air ride yet
lol. noooooo its still jacked up in the clouds. got my standard wheels on at mo as ALL the tyres had to be replaced because they split. SWT changed them for another set F.O.C. so while the rims are without tyres they will be going to powder coaters to get sorted and coloured. i will get some lowering springs when funds allow but air is abit expensive. and sorry for going off track on this thread. back on track the osram nightbreakers are brill and when i bought them i got a free set of side light bulbs in the same spec!

Hey jus a quick question so i can make it clear to myself lol
If i buy 2 pairs of the osram nightbreakers h1, one pair for the main beam, one pair for the high beams, wot wil i need for the sidelights?? This may have been asked before but its confusing.

Scrap that i have got the 501 xenon whites, they seem be able to do the job perfectly.

I have another question sorry guys.
Just fitted my osram nightbreakers to both headlights and a pair of white sidelight bulbs.
Problem is when i turn the sidelights on while the car is running i get a yellow light come on as well, the sidelights work fine and u can see they do but i dont no wot this yellow light is, and when you turn the lights onto full this light goes away an is replaced by the main beam.
Also when the ignition is off an u turn the sidelights on the yellow glow doesnt appear?
Anyone help with this?

Il try this in a mo, i know the main beam comes on dim with the sidelights but didnt think it wud be yellow as the nightbreakers are know in? Il try an see if the resistor works.
Just unplugged the yellow resistor, works fine now jus the sidelights come on and no yellow glow.
Is this ok to leave like that and wont cause the car or lights any harm?

Dont think you will need to unplug it as your car will have H4's which means the same bulb for both dipped and main beam.
ye it seems ok so wil leave it for now. Its just maidstone mate, just outside the town. i see ur from canturbury, u down here much?
