Does anybody have a diagram of the wiring going into the headlight connector plug? im after the sidelight wire to splice into so my drl's go dim when the sidelights come on, thought i had the right wire but it makes them dim all the time :(

I'm fairly sure I used this before, although it's for a mk4 golf. I recognise the image...

Be careful because when I did that in order to connect my rings, the car kept giving me an error. If you cannot find a diagram, I'll look at my wires since I already spliced in like three of them, low beam, high beam, and sidelights when I modified my older headlights and wanted to take power for the rings and bi-xenon, and tell you what I came up with. What I remember well is that one of the cables is black and yellow and that's the low beam one.

That would be great if you could look mate, i think the one i was going into was blue/black striped, going off the diagram above though it seems the drivers and passenger side has different coloured wire for the same thing i.e. sidelights

was yours done on the passenger side or drivers? im wanting to do it on the passenger side

Cheers
