Not even sure how active this community still is but here goes,
i have a 2008 PD170 FR it has factory bluetooth. what i want to do is change the headunit and keep the BT in tact. there is a guide of here by a guy named street but its old and the pics no longer work.
currently i have the new headunit in, it is working and i have full steering wheel controls, i can get the phone call to come thru the front speakers by wiring direct from the tel+ and tel- to come rca jacks on the back of my HU. however the sound is very low and adjusting the volume does nothing. i believe it may be to do with the mute wire on the HU which "should" mute the music etc and allow me to take a call and change the volume like you can do with the standard unit.
im proper stuck now and i would very much appreciate any help you guys could give me
