Nice little addition made to the Toledo today.
I bought a two seat universal heated seat kit from ebay a couple of weeks ago, and got round to fitting it today. Being a universal kit, it doesn't tap into the canbus at all, power is taken direct from the battery through a relay which is ignition switched from the fusebox. The power lead splits to each seat, each through its own 7.5 amp fuse. It's a system I've used on both my current Leon and two of my old Octavias, and works well.
I've mounted the switches out of the way on the sides of the seats by the height adjuster handle, so there's no damage at all to the console or dashboard
It's a very cost effective way of adding heated seats, and cost me less than £60 to do both front seats 👍
