Heating controller

Hi, I have an 07 Altea XL STYLANCE and it's developed an issue with the heating controls recently. There seems to be an intermittent connection issue as the controls are switching on and off randomly so it can be difficult to keep the windscreen free on condensation. While it gies on and off, I can hear a click from the fuse box behind the glove box.
Any suggestions to check before taking it to an auto electrician?

If you can find the location of the relay and check that. Not familiar with the Altea but it sounds like a relay to me.
