My 2007 Seat Leon FR 2.0 TDI steering feels very heavy, I've had the car 3 years so I probably gotten used to it now but I had recently bought a 2005 2.0 TDI Sport for parts and I was surprised how light the steering was so there is deffo an issue with mine.

No warning lights and nothing comes up on Carista, only one issue is on full lock there is a groaning noise.

I will be taking the car off road for some work soon as it needs rear bumper and wheels painting and also lowering kit installed, I'm also hoping to sort the steering issue out but I've no clue what it is since it doesn't show any fault code.

Also power steering fluid is max.

Has anyone faced similar issue and knows a fix, thanks

You shouldn't have power steering fluid in a Mk2 Leon. They use an electro-mechanical steering system with an electric motor directly attached to the steering rack providing the steering assistance, not a hydraulic system.

Is your mention of fluid a misunderstanding? The only way you can actually have power steering fluid is if some sort of hydraulic conversion has been done.
