Hello all! Mk4 Golf dashboard, door cards, and centre console in a Leon?

Hi guys,

Up until last weekend, I had a Mk4 Golf PD130.
It was my pride and joy, then an old lady in a Suzuki Wagon R (aka grannymobile) decided to t-bone me, resulting in a write-off.

This has lead to me looking into a Mk1 Leon FR, with the PD150.

Only thing is, and I really mean no offence to you guys here, I'm not the biggest fan of the interior.

I'll live with it for a while and see if I get used to it, but for worst case scenario, is it possible to fit the Mk4 Golf dashboard, centre console, and door cards into a Mk1 Leon?

Believe me I feel your pain when it comes to the stock mk1 Leon dashboard & cockpit area as i hated it initially but don't despair as you can improve it considerably with a bit of effort and money...quite a bit I might add ha.

TBH you could probably fit the mk4 Golf dashboard and centre console but the door cards won't fit and the Leon ones won't line up correctly with the mk4 parts.

In my 54 plate FR TDI I installed the double din upper & lower centre consoles, Audi S3 illuminated vents, W8 Passat interior light, custom Bora Sport/ Audi S3 full fis clocks with colourMFA display, cruise control, auto dimming rear view mirror, auto headlight switch, Cupra R 225 steering wheel, S3 leather handbrake lever, mk4 Golf centre visor, Cupra R pedal covers...probably missed something else off?
Its quite a nice thing to look at now actually.
