Hello!

I'm the new owner of a somewhat great yet somewhat broken 2015 Leon ST 1.4tsi act.

Had it for 30 days, only drove it gently across town to take the dog to the park and to do some shopping for the first 3 weeks then went for a blast through North Wales a week ago and noticed that when I accelerate hard in 2nd gear, it stutters and surges between 4 and 5000rpm. Has no eml and no stored or pending codes which seems odd for a modern car. The dealer hasn't been very responsive so far so took it to my regular garage who scanned and found nothing so I'm lost and think I need to find a VAG specialist near Chester. Hopefully I won't be left with the bill considering how long ago I bought it.

It's a great car as long as I don't put my foot down so I hope I can get it fixed.

Welcome to SCN, sorry to hear about your Leon's problem and I think you should be chasing up the dealer you bought it from to sort it.

I am but the dealer isn't being very responsive, it took over a week to even get a response from them but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now. They're over an hour away so can't just turn up at their door. I have registered the fault on the provided warranty to keep them happy even though it's not likely they'll cover anything.

I have to find another garage since my usual one won't deal with warranty claims so am trying to find a decent VAG specialist nearby who'll deal with the warranty company.

The warranty provider recommended Halfords autocentres, not sure I would trust them to even put fuel in my car.
