Help! Can anyone tell me what tool I need please?

Gone to fit new sidelight bulbs and the nearside fitting won't budge! So my plan is to take off the headlight unit itself and push the bulb out from the other side... however I'm stumped by this fitting, have nothing in my toolset for it! It is hexagonal in shape, photos below.

Can anyone tell me what I need please? Cheers.

That's a tx25 I think BUT I think you will find that one bolt is under the headlamp so you need to remove the bumper

Get some long nose pliers on it , it will come out there tight !

I wiggled mine side to side and it will pop out

Most of the car is held together with these from what I can work out so they'll come in handy and they've got a lifetime guarantee so if the screwdriver snaps take it back and they'll replace it

You will need to remove the whole bumper to remove the whole headlight, you know that right? The screws on top are called Torx screws.

Thanks guys, didn't know I'd have to remove the bumper. Seems a bit convoluted just to get the sidelight bulb out. Had another go with long nose pliars at the fitting inside, bd still won't come out.

I hope if I remove the car battery (had to be the passenger side one didn't it!) I hope I can get a better grip with the pliars.
If I disconnect my battery and pull that out, are there any codes I need for the radio and alarm etc when reconnecting?

No codes needed I have my battery off all the time mate

There tough to remove I swore and everything just wiggle it hard but don't pull on the wires in the plug

I'd say yes you'd need your radio code just in case, All else is self learning as far as I know

What I'd do personally is go to SEAT dealer, Buy a sidelight bulb from them and ask them to fit it.

According to the SEAT site if it takes less than 15 minutes to fit and you buy from there they'll fit it free too

how did you try to remove the bulb in the first place? as if you take off both parts of the covers behind the N/S headlamp you can get a set of long nose pliers on the bulb holder and wiggle it out. Its how I've always done it.
