well my cat has gone on my leon, had a quote from the freindly exhaust centre and they wanted near on 200 quid

so after looking on ebay i found a exhaust place selling them on there for 80 quid so being del-boy thought i would try and save some money and ordered it

going to have a go at fitting myself on tuesday night, so today thought i would see how easy it was to get to the nuts from the top of the engine bay,

out came the socket set , both the top nuts moved ok , but yes you can guess the bottom nut snapped [:@]

so will my new cat be ok just held on by 2 nuts if not how do i remove the the snapped lug?????

lesson to me , dont be such i tight git

cheers phil

try a stud removing tool if there is enough to get a grip on; if not drill it out and helicoil?
