Help Ibiza horn not working

New on here so apologies for any mistakes, I needed help with my seat Ibiza tdi sport. Recently it developed a fault with the horn and abs light. The horn does not work at all, checked the fuses, that was fine, I don't which relay it is for the horn to check this, there is no clicking sound when I press the relay, had a look at the horn it's been upgraded in my opinion as the wires have been spliced in and connected to a twin horn, anything else I should check?

Any help guys?? Noticed that the abs light is on. Would that affect the car by any chance?

Test the wires to the horn see if any of them are live,ifso try another horn,failing that it maybe a relay,which one i dont know

Hi , thank you for your reply, I did try a replacement horn but that didn't seem to work, I tried checking the wires but I'm only getting 6 volts, when I jumped the wires to the car battery the horn seem to work, so that's 12 volts. I was told the abs light may be the cause of the problem. How do I know which relay it might be?

I suppose you could trial and error it,get someone to pull the relays when you are trying to operate the horn as you did above.Not ideal but may get the result you need

hi thanks for the reply,
when i do press the horn theres no response at all so how am i suppose to check which relay it is, when the system dont work at all (horn system that is ).

Any one have the wiring diagram for the car, its a 11 plate ibiza 1.6tdi sport. kfk gearbox if that helps.

as your car is under 3 years old, it is obviously still under manufacturers warranty, let the dealer rectify the fault.
