help please leon tdi issues..

Hi im new to this forum an hope some one could help me...

My leon 1.9 tdi has a code p1557 and loss of power, i think this is due to turbo vanes sticking

But what i dont understand is when the car is idling an then i rev it to over 4000 revs it dies out and i hear a whoosh noise from the turbo, it wont start back up till its left for a min then it will fire back up,

If i try to start it straight after it dies out it will make a hissing noise but wont fire till a few mins after...
any info will be appreciated

Have you got a boost hose burst or blown off

I have checked but looks fine... I have blanked the egr an the shudder control valve vaccum hose tip broke off ... Could that be the reason as the vaccum line is not connectd to the shudder valve

Block the vacuum pipe that split off, this is causing a vacuum leak.....the actuator on the turbo is controlled by vacuum, so no vacuum = no turbo vane control.......i think.
