Help please new owner with problems !!!!

Hey everyone I've had my mk1 Lcr for three weeks now and have problems . The car keeps going into limp mode ( boosting 5psi ) and even when it's not in limp mode it spikes to around 21 then drops off to 11-12psi. So far I've checked all boost pipes and can't see or hear any leaks, changed the intake pipe to samco silicone, changed the maf, changed the n75 valve, changed the dv to a forge recirc, replace a load of boost pipes, fitted a boost gauge . I can hear a very slight blow at the front of the exhaust but it is very slight . Up till around half an hour ago I had no warning lights but now have my eml light on . If I turn the ignition off and back on again it boosts alright for a few minutes then drops again. I don't have vagcom or a code reader unfortunately . Hopefully someone can help .

get a smoke test done, its the only way to check leaks 100%

That's far man lol sorry in that case I would check fuel starting from pump then check fuel pressure change fuel filter and if you have a mechanics stethoscope listen to the injectors for any noticeable difference in the sound of fuel pulsing in hope this helps in some way

I googled the fault code and it came up lamda sensor so I'm now thinking the small blow in my exhaust is up infront of the cat and that may be my problem .

Maybe sort the blow out because that will never help matter what's the code it threw up because you did mention fuel trim bank ?

I have*Audi*A4*2.8 quattro. From past couple of weeks when I am standing at a*red*light*Isometime get little jerk, not always but once in a while. Also when try to speed up when I give gas I feel the same jerk. From past few days my mileage is also gone down and car run little bit heavy. Now today the inevitable happened, check engine light. I read the fault code with the help of a friend it came out*p1070*fuel trim malfunction Bank 1.

Autozone says change*02 sensor, but I know my engine misfiring. what should be first steps and is firestone a good place to go?

1. No, Firestone is *not* a good place to go.

2. It is not an*O2*sensor.*

3. You need to check all vacuum lines. Especially the ones above and besides thethrottle body.*
I no it different car but they all same really

Just checked there and the code was p0170 which is the pre cat lamda so I'll start there
