Seat leon cupra 300, keyless start.
Both keys not functioning this morning. I can get in the car manually but it sets the alarm off and the car still doesn't recognise the keys. I'm at a loss....
Will disconnecting the battery and reconnecting make a difference??

Ok. Now i can start the car if i hold the fob against the steering column and its giving me a battery warning... is this a common thing for both batteries/keys to die at once?

You could try the recoding procedure taken from another post -

1) Unlock car from driver side door using non-remote key

2) Turn IGN on using non-remote key

3) Lock car via driver side door using remote fob (but not remotely, of course)

WITHIN 30 SECS:

4) Operate LOCK button once on remote fob, indicators will flash (THIS DOES HAPPEN, so remote works and so does car receiver)

5) Operate UNLOCK button once for more than 2 secs, vehicle will unlock confirming sync.
