Help!!!! TDI Cambelts

IS anyone out there who can advise me on cambelt use and replacement? My service log states that I need to replace the cambelt every 60,000 miles and currently I have done 61500. I need to know if this is something I have to get changed asap or something I can leave for another 1000 miles when I can afford to get it changed! A quick response would be great from anyone! thanks!

usually 60k miles max. personally i wouldn't risk shagging the whole engine.
